China miners: over 30 killed in gas accident – A mining accident in Yuzhou, China (Henan province) took the lives of more than 30 miners, according to Chinese reports.
The trigger of the drama was a massive gas outburst last Saturday, which scattered 2,500 tons of coal dust underground and is already the second accident in this mine after the incident of 2008, in which 23 people came to death.
After the death toll increased to 31 on yesterdays Monday, responsible rescue workers said that there are hardly any chances of a living return for the 6 missing persons.
According to the government press, „China Daily“, it is believed that they were buried under the coal dust, and probably will no longer be alive.
