Iraq suicide attack killed at least 29 people – A suicide bomber in the Iraqi town of Baquba killed at least 29 people yesterday. Even the day before, a car bomb attack happened in the provincial capital.
As news agency „Buratha News“ reported, another 46 people were injured when the bomb was detonated on a market near a Shiite mosque. Bakuba is the capital of the correspondent province located in the northeast of Baghdad.
While the security situation in the country changed for the worse again, the forming of a government in Baghdad has moved further away.
A meeting of the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and his main rival Iyad Allawi on Tuesday evening didn`t brought the hoped-for breakthrough. „There is nothing new, the dispute over who should be prime minister and who should be parliament president takes on,“ said Haidar al-Mullah, who belongs to Allawis Al-Irakija alliance.
