Google Doodle 06/05/2010: Dennis Gabor 110th Birthday – The Google Doodle of today’s Saturday, the 05th June 2010 is devoted to the Hungarian physicist Dennis Gabor, who would turn 110 today.

Gabor was born on June 5th in 1900 in Budapest and since 1949, he joined the Imperial College of Science and Technology in London, where he became Professor of Applied Electron Physics in 1958.

In 1971, probably the biggest moment of his life, Dennis Gabor received the Nobel Prize in physics for his invention and development of the holographic method.

On 08/02/1979 Denis Gabor died after 79 years of living in London, as occupying a respectable number of more than 100 patents.

  1. What you said was very logical. But, think on this, what if you were to create a killer title?
    I ain’t saying your information isn’t solid, but suppose you added a title that grabbed
    people’s attention? I mean Google Doodle 06/05/2010:
    Dennis Gabor 110th Birthday – GNP Online is kinda boring.

    You should look at Yahoo’s home page and see how they create article headlines to grab viewers
    to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to
    get readers excited about everything’ve written. Just my opinion, it
    might bring your blog a little bit more interesting.

    A smaall number of my blog readers hage complained about my site not working
    correctly in Explorer but looks great in Safari.
