However, a new leak seems to have emerged and the oil is flowing once again.

Located near the recently installed sealing caps, this new incident provides plenty of worries, particularly for the United States federal government, which published this unpleasant report today.

The confidence was initially high after BP had placed a sealing cap on the damaged hole as a “top hat” and began testing the pressure on the hole.

The responsible crisis manager in the Gulf, Thad Allen, has considered opening the sealing caps immediately to stop the renewed flow of oil. Recent reports also indicate that there are new anomalies and an increased pressure buildup in the bore hole.
